Baishakhi mela is the name of fair which is held on the 1st day of the bengali year. It is known after the name of the 1st month of the bengali year.It is our long tradition to celebratethe new year. The aboriginal community of the hill tracts celebrate their bijoy Utsab(festival of victory). It is the most secular and all-prevaiding festival of Bangladesh.
The state of being unable to read and writeis known as illiteracy. It is a curse in any siciety as illiterate people cannot differntiate between right and wrong. By the following the right way people can go ahead and lead a country along the path of development. The present illiteracy rate of Bangladesh is 60%. It is undoubtedly a poor rate.
